DroidStor is an application control panel, backup and marketplace.

Developers can create outstanding applications but the real challenge is to deliver them to users' devices and then make sure that users pay the developer.

DroidStor is a hybrid of a control panel and online shop. Once installed on an Android device, DroidStor allows the user to browse online catalogs of Android software, download, install and remove programs, rate programs and send programs they like to their contacts. DroidStor will also give the user an option to pay the developer (if the software is not freeware) and will lock and disable the software for which the evaluation or paid period expires, until it is paid for or deleted.

Important new features of DroidStor include ability for user to share software with other users of DroidStor (enabling viral marketing) and use software on a pay-as-you-go subscription basis, rather than pay a flat sum or use it for free.

DroidStor backs up all user software, data and configurations online; if an Android phone is lost or damaged, DroidStor automatically resurrects its exact clone on a new Android phone. In multi-user and enterprise environments DroidStor will also provide and enforce access rights for different classes of users.
